The story of Hardinsburg

Hardinsburg, Kentucky, the county seat of Breckinridge County, boasts a history deeply intertwined with the early development of the Commonwealth. Founded in 1800, it was named in honor of Captain William Hardin, a prominent figure in the American Revolutionary War and a pioneer settler of Kentucky.
